How to Make Roblox Ads for Groups

Once you have created an incredible new group, you may want to help get the word out to start attracting new members. Ads are the great thing to do about that and advertising a group is similar to advertising the other items on the platform.

So, how to make Roblox ads for groups? Any member of the group that has been granted permission to advertise the group will be able to create an ad.

In order to begin to make Roblox ads for groups, first of all, go to the page of the group and click the Advertise Group button located on the right to open the Create a User Ad page. From there, please follow these following steps. The first thing that you have to do is to choose what size ad you want to make. Currently, there are three options for you to choose from. Each of them has a template that you are able to download to help you get started:

  • Download 728×90 Banner Template
  • Download 160×160 Skyscraper Template
  • Download 300×250 Large Rectangle Template

Then, use image editing software to craft an enticing ad. The next thing that you have to do is to save the customized ad to your computer. After that, back on the Create a User Ad page and then click the Choose File button. When you are done, find and select the image you created in step two. The last thing that you have to do is to enter a name and click the green Upload button.

In the end, the ad you have uploaded will be reviewed by the team of Roblox moderators in order to make sure it adheres to the Roblox Community Rules. Please give several hours for this process. Once your ad has been approved, you will be able to launch the ad from the page of Ad Inventory. Please take a note that you may bid on your ad with group funds if you have been granted the Spend Group Funds permission.

As stated before, any member of the group that has been granted permission to advertise the group will be able to create an ad. For those who would like to grant special privileges to particular members, then the RoleSet system is the way to do it. The default roles include Owner, Admin, Member, and Guest. Custom ranks are able to be created by clicking the Create Role button in the Roles section of your Configure Group page. So, how to assign roles to members? As long as the group owner or the one who have assigned to a role with the permissions, you can do it by clicking Groups, finding the group in question and clicking on it, clicking the three dots menu on the right page and clicking Configure Group button, clicking Members, finding a user you would like to modify, clicking the drop down box under their picture, and selecting the role you would like to assign to that user.
